On April 3, 2017, the 2017 Cup of Excellence Colombia event was held, an event organized by the Colombian Association for Coffee Excellence (ASECC), of which InConexus is part, with the support of the Alliance for Coffee Excelence (ACE) who was present with the assistance of its executive director Mr. Darrin Daniel. The main objective was to launch this prestigious competition of high quality coffees that has been absent for two years in the country, also looking for Colombian coffee to be increasingly recognized for its excellence and quality. During this launch, were highlighted topics of conversation such as the importance of Colombian specialty coffee being recognized within the country and not only going away from it, but on the contrary the existence of a higher promotion in an education and culture of this subject within the Colombians so that in turn when they come to obtain Colombian coffee of high quality, they can also know about its different preparations and characteristics, and can enjoy it in the best way.
The main invitation of this event is that these goals that are held by large companies in the specialty coffee sector in Colombia that are coming together with a great vision, be not only developed by these same enterprises but that this network get to grow increasingly and that all those interested in this sector get part of a co-creation that will lead to the voice of the excellence of Colombian specialty coffee being disseminated on a large scale, all this as part of the good productive development of the country and fair and favorable conditions for all these producers and marketers who strive every day to provide a coffee of the best quality.
During this launch, InConexus unveiled 4 of its Cup of Excellence coffees from Nariño, the attendees were able to travel through their senses, witnessing the wonderful notes they have, and having the possibility to validate the reason for their recognition.
